Software for the training industry

Systems that
hold up
under audit.

DVM Consulting builds working software for training providers — booking, scheduling, certification, accreditation and content. Not demos. Tools that people use on a Monday morning.

Based in South Africa

Built by people who have run training departments, sat through SETA audits, and know what a certificate register is actually for.

A selection of the tools we have built for training providers operating under SETA and QCTO accreditation.

Flagship In development

CertForge

A web-based certificate generation platform for accredited training providers, with nothing to install. It produces training certificates, compliance certificates and qualification records from a provider's own learner and course data — consistently formatted, correctly dated and ready to issue, without anyone rebuilding a template by hand.

The certificates a training provider issues are the record its clients rely on years later; CertForge exists so that record is right the first time.

  • Browser-based
  • Bulk issue
  • Template-driven
  • Proprietary
Sales In daily use

Course knowledge assistant

An AI assistant that answers the questions a sales team gets fifty times a week: what does this course cost, how long is the certificate valid, what are the prerequisites, which SETA accredits it. Trained on the provider's own price list and accreditation records, so the answer is theirs — not a guess.

  • Cloudflare Workers
  • Gemini API
  • Structured knowledge base
Operations In build

Training management platform

Bookings, scheduling, delegate lists and facilitator allocation in one place, replacing the spreadsheet-and-email routine most training departments still run on. Facilitator competency is matched against the course before a date can be confirmed, so an unqualified allocation never reaches the client.

  • Cloudflare Pages
  • D1 database
  • Multi-user roles
Compliance Delivered

Certificate register reconciliation

A matching engine that reads years of training records and finds the certificates that were never issued. Company names get typed six different ways over a decade; the tool reconciles them, flags the genuine gaps, and leaves the judgement calls to a human.

  • Python
  • Fuzzy matching
  • Audit-ready output
Content Delivered

Course material tooling

Automation for the part of training nobody budgets time for: learner guides, assessment papers, marking memoranda and slide decks generated straight onto the provider's branded template, with legislation references applied consistently across every document in the suite.

  • Document automation
  • Template compliance
  • Bulk correction

Build with us

Custom development

If your team is holding a process together with spreadsheets, shared folders and a colleague who remembers how it works — that process can be a system. Tell us what the manual version looks like and we will build the tool that replaces it.

  1. 01

    We watch the manual process

Before anything is designed, we sit with the people doing the work and map what actually happens — including the workarounds.

  2. 02

    You see something working early

A usable version in weeks, not a specification document in months. You correct the direction while correcting is still cheap.

  3. 03

    It ships to your team

Hosted, documented and handed over, with your staff trained on it — by people who have written training material for a living.

Typically we are asked for

  • Booking and scheduling systems
  • Certificate issue and expiry tracking
  • Accreditation and audit evidence registers
  • Assessment and moderation workflows
  • Client and delegate portals
  • Reporting that replaces a monthly spreadsheet
  • Internal AI assistants trained on your own documents
  • Quality Management System updates to maintain conformance under ISO 9001

Describe the process that is costing your team the most time.

We will tell you honestly whether software is the answer — and roughly what it would take.
